2023 Exhibition
10 Monarchs, 8 Coronations
The exhibition focuses on events that occured in Ramsbottom around the time of the 8 coronations since Ramsbottom was formed in 1783.
George III had been already on the throne for over twenty years before Ramsbottom developed into a town, and Edward VIII was never crowned
- hence the title of this exhibition
The exhibition includes artefacts, art work from the pupils at Peel Brow Primary school, and facts about the 10 monarchs.
