JOSEPH HEAP IN CENSUSES AND DIRECTORIES

Crow trees (1851), Farm House (1861) and no.11 (1871 onwards) are almost certainly the same building, Crow Trees where Joseph Heap lived in 1851 does not refer to Crowtrees Farm which had been there since the 1700s, since this was demolished before the church was built on the site in 1850 

Number 11 today  is between the Chapel of  Rest  and St Paul's School.

Joseph Heap was a member of the Local Board from at least 1864 to 1870.  William Grant was the chairman of the Board from at least 1864 to 1866

1867 (p181) Joseph Heap's plans for alteration in Back Sq, passed subject to committee approval

1867 (p193) Jo Heap's plans of New Millwright's Workshop in Sq St passed. The chimney shall not be less than 60ft in height.
